Evolución de la conflictividad laboral en España (1986-2024)

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la evolución de los conflictos laborales en España desde 1986 hasta 2024, siendo las huelgas la principal manifestación de la conflictividad laboral. A través de los datos extraídos de la Estadística anual de Huelgas y Cierres Patronales del Ministerio de Trabajo y Economía Social, se observa cómo se manifiestan las huelgas desde dos enfoques, midiendo su intensidad a través de indicadores simples como el número de huelgas, trabajadores participantes y jornadas no trabajadas y, por otro lado, determinando la forma de las huelgas a través de su frecuencia, magnitud y duración. De este análisis empírico se extrae cómo la intensidad de los conflictos, en general, sufre un declive en todas sus variables con el paso de los años, especialmente en el sector industrial, dirigiéndose la conflictividad hacia el sector servicios, en actividades esenciales para la sociedad y dando lugar a una politización de los conflictos.
