Los márgenes del derecho del trabajo: el trabajo sexual

Abstract

Desde principios de la década de los años ochenta, el movimiento feminista se ha encontrado fracturado y enfrentado a raíz de los tensos debates acerca de la liberación sexual de los sujetos femeninos. Estas guerras en torno a la licitud del trabajo sexual, y concretamente sobre la prostitución, siguen encontrándose en una encrucijada académica que parece hasta el momento irreconciliable. No obstante, mientras se debate y se opina sobre lo que se puede categorizar como moralmente correcto o incorrecto para una sociedad, lo que si queda claro es que las mujeres que se dedican a esta actividad se encuentran desamparadas y desprotegidas. En consecuencia, la presente investigación, proporciona una visión, desde una perspectiva de género, histórica, social y jurídica, de la realidad a la que se enfrentan estas mujeres, desde el surgimiento del estigma hasta la legalización del sindicato Organización de Trabajadoras Sexuales.
