“Vecinos invasores”: propuesta de concienciación en Educación Primaria para el control de las especies invasoras en Canarias

Abstract

La presencia de especies invasoras puede crear grandes desequilibrios ecológicos al alterar gravemente las interacciones entre especies. Además, también causan severos perjuicios económicos. Esta circunstancia es más dramática en los medios insulares al albergar un gran número de especies endémicas, pudiendo llegar a provocar la extinción de muchas especies. Con el presente TFG se realizará una búsqueda bibliográfica de artículos científicos para analizar qué grupos de seres vivos nativos de los medios insulares son los más proclives a sufrir el impacto de las especies invasoras. Se usará el caso de las Islas Canarias, para documentar este problema con más detalle, y se plantearán acciones de manejo para paliar esta situación. Finalmente, se desarrollará una metodología didáctica que incorpore la concienciación y sensibilización de este problema en los alumnos de Primaria.
