Incertidumbre laboral y consumo de alcohol

Abstract

Antecedentes: Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre la incertidumbre laboral y el consumo de alcohol. Para ello, se realiza un análisis de la relevancia social de ambos temas y una fundamentación teórica añadiendo variables como el género, la edad, la salud mental, la satisfacción vital y el tipo de contrato. Método: Se utiliza una muestra de 1010 sujetos residentes en España y que se encuentran trabajando. Primero, se analiza la relación entre la incertidumbre laboral (VI) y el consumo de alcohol (VD) mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. A continuación, se toman el resto de variables como moderadoras de esta relación mediante modelos de regresión lineal. Resultados: Muestran que existe una relación entre la incertidumbre laboral y el consumo de alcohol (p=0,027) y que el cambio en el nivel de satisfacción vital produce un incremento del efecto que ejerce la incertidumbre sobre el consumo de alcohol en 0.164 puntos. Conclusión: La aportación principal de este estudio es haber encontrado de que depende que la incertidumbre laboral influya en la ingesta de alcohol. No depende de la edad, del género, de la salud mental, ni del tipo de contrato; depende del nivel de satisfacción que tenga la persona con su vida.
