Obtención experimental de los coeficientes de sustentación y arrastre de perfiles aerodinámicos para su aplicación en turbinas eólicas

Abstract

La optimización aerodinámica se ha convertido en un tema de alta importancia para aumentar generación eléctrica a partir del viento y por lo cual es de interés poder determinar la mejor geometría para una configuración aerodinámica según el lugar de instalación y con ciertas restricciones de diseño. El rendimiento aerodinámico normalmente se calcula a partir de una forma geométrica prestablecida y que a menudo posteriormente se optimiza en un método de ensayo y error. El presente artículo, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica en la literatura científica respecto a la obtención experimental y/o analítica para la determinación de los coeficientes de sustentación y arrastre de perfiles aerodinámicos para su aplicación en turbinas eólicas. Esta revisión resume los esfuerzos recientes de investigación experimental, computacional y teórica de los artículos analizados y que han contribuido a nuestra comprensión para el diseño y optimización de los perfiles aerodinámicos de HAWT y VAWT.
