Tratamiento de los residuos generados por buques de cabotaje

Abstract

Este trabajo recoge la influencia de los residuos generados por los buques dedicados al transporte marítimo, y más concretamente buques empleados en las líneas de cabotaje. Dentro del estudio y problema de la contaminación marítima se analizan diferentes apartados. En la primera parte se explican los problemas y los causantes de esta contaminación, especialmente la provocada por el transporte marítimo, centrándose más concretamente en las líneas de cabotaje. También se realiza un estudio detallado de la diferente legislación y normativa tanto en su aspecto preventivo como en su aspecto sancionador. En el resto del trabajo se realiza un estudio de los residuos entregados por los buques en escalas de cabotaje nacional y comunitario, tomando como referencia el puerto de Gijón. El estudio se ha realizado con base a los datos aportados por la Autoridad Portuaria de los años 2017 y 2018. A partir de estos datos se ha hecho un seguimiento sobre su transporte y tratamiento en la planta especializada para estos residuos de COGERSA en Serín (Asturias).
