Políticas de equidad vista desde dos perspectivas: el sistema de cuotas de Brasil y PRONABES de México

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como propósito de estudio el análisis teóricocomparativo de políticas públicas de equidad en la educación superior en Latinoamérica. En concreto, la investigación se acoge la finalidad de evaluar estas políticas en Brasil y en México, políticas especialmente concebidas para la inclusión y permanencia en universidades públicas de ambos países, en caso de Brasil el Sistema de Cuotas y en México el Programa Nacional de Becas de Educación Superior (PRONABES). Ambas políticas son consideradas como compensatorias porque tienen como característica minimizar carencias de ciertos grupos en desventaja en el ámbito social y económico.
