Nuevas tecnologías y educación especial

Abstract

El auge de las nuevas tecnologías supuso un camino alternativo a la intervención tradicional en las Dificultades de Aprendizaje. No obstante, si tenemos en cuenta que un porcentaje significativo de las Dificultades de Aprendizaje son inespecíficas, es decir, de etiología y sintomatología diversificada, no sería de extrañar que los programas informatizados dirigidos a las diferentes capacidades deficitarias, permitieran progresos significativos en consonancia con la naturaleza de los trastornos que nos ocupan. Nuestra investigación tiene como objetivo comprobar la eficacia de los programas informatizados globalizados en las Dificultades de Aprendizaje inespecíficas, y si son o no superiores a los tratamientos tradicionales estándar, tanto específicos como globalizados. Para comprobar la eficacia de estos tratamientos, a una muestra de 63 escolares con Dificultades de Aprendizaje inespecíficas y con edades comprendidas entre los 7 y 10 años, se les aplicó 3 tratamientos diferentes: Tratamiento informatizado globalizado, Tratamiento globalizado estándar y Tratamiento específico estándar. Los resultados han puesto de manifiesto de forma significativa la eficacia del tratamiento informatizados en las Dificultades de Aprendizaje inespecíficas, y su superioridad frente a los tratamientos tradicionales estándar de papel y lápiz.
