Abstract

Prosjektet handler om hvordan NAV utvikler inkluderingskompetanse gjennom samarbeid med mentorer på arbeidsplasser i inkluderingsforløp for brukere med store støttebehov. I et utvalg saker samarbeider NAV-veileder tett med mentor om kandidatoppfølging. Tilnærmingen krever prioriterte tidsressurser og et tilstrekkelig antall NAV-veiledere, slik at disse kan utgjøre et fagfellesskap som utvikler og forbedrer praksis. Samarbeidet mellom NAV-veileder og mentor bidrar til å overføre kunnskap om brukeren til arbeidsplassen, utvikling av tillit, mer fleksibel innsats og tettere kobling mellom støtteapparatet og arbeidslivet. Tilnærmingen representerer en proaktiv bruk av mentortiltaket, der NAV-veilederen går inn med den innsatsen som trengs der og da, både overfor mentor og bruker. Samarbeidet med NAV bidrar til at arbeidsgiver og mentor får innsikt i hva mentorrollen dreier seg om og mentor blir tryggere i oppfølgingen av kandidaten. Tett kontakt med mentor gir NAV økt kunnskap om arbeidsplassens støttebehov ved arbeidsinkludering.
