Tverrfaglig samarbeid : pynt eller praksis?

Abstract

This study has looked closely at the phenomenon of interprofessional collaboration in the light of Bourdieu and his theories on power and positions. Interprofessional collaboration is a method that means that different work groups complement each other mutually. This in order for a holistic approach to the clients needs. At the same time Bourdieu shows that there will be an ongoing struggle for power and position inside the group. How then to facilitate equality and respect, when different occupations with different professional approaches are going to work together? To look closer at this problem I have interviewed four leaders and one supervisor of interprofessional compounded groups of professionals. I have not focused on the leadership role as such. Rather locked at their reflections around the concept of interprofessional collaboration and the dynamics that are unfolding in their team. On the basis of this I have looked closer on how the informants facilitate interprofessional collaboration in practical use. My main question has been: Is it possible to identify some success criteria regarding interprofessional collaboration - and what might be the main challenges
