Educación para el desarrollo sostenible: el papel de la universidad en la Agenda 2030.

Abstract

Desde la aprobación de los ODS y la agenda 2030 de Naciones Unidas, la Educación para Desarrollo Sostenible conquista un lugar privilegiado, al ser el fundamento de una de las metas, la 4.7. Este planteamiento, nace con la Conferencia Mundial de la Educacíón para Todos (EPT) en 1990 y se mantiene en el Foro Mundial sobre educación en el año 2000 estimulando el Decenio de las Naciones Unidas de la Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible 2005-2014. En el ODS 4 se plantea la Educación para el Desarrollo Sostenible como elemento integral de la educación de calidad, apostando por el desarrollo sostenible y favoreciendo que las personas cambien su manera de pensar y trabajar hacia la sostenibilidad. En una apuesta por la innovación educativa, el presente estudio muestra cómo la metodología de aprendizaje y servicio que plantea la asignatura de Responsabilidad Social en la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria invita a los/as alumnos/as a ser protagonistas de su formación, favoreciendo encuentros con ONG´s y creando espacios de aprendizaje distintos a los tradicionales con una fundamentación teórica desde el aula. Los resultados objetivos apuntan cuánto los/as estudiantes aumentan el grado de Responsabilidad Social de forma significativa tras cursar esta materia, elevando su puesta en práctica lo que contribuye, a la consecución de la meta 4.7. post-print 1004 KB
