Abstract

Es bien conocido que el manejo o conducción psicológica del paciente a lo largo de los procedimientos clínicos, se constituye como la más dificultosa y, a la vez, eficaz propiedad de la praxis clínica. A resultas de lo cual, una entrevista clínica exitosa facilitará, significativamente, la relación médico-paciente, la adherencia al tratamiento, el cumplimiento de las prescripciones médicas, y, en suma, el grado de satisfacción de éste y del mismo clínico. La adherencia al tratamiento y el cumplimiento de las prescripciones médicas –medicamentosas o no- se pueden ver alteradas –cuando no, impedidas- ante patologías que obligan a tomar decisiones complejas en tanto a opciones diagnósticas y terapéuticas. La toma de decisiones compartidas y las herramientas para ello elaboradas por prestigiosos clínicos y equipos de investigación advierten de la dificultad que aquélla entraña cuando se trata de desórdenes en el campo de la salud mental, de la psicooncología o de diferentes neoplasias malignas, en términos amplios.
