Abstract

Este proyecto nace de la necesidad que tiene el ingenio Mayagüez S.A., de implementar un sistema que controle la corrección del factor de potencia para la planta de energía eléctrica de su fábrica de producción de azúcar; el ingenio Mayagüez S.A. está ubicado en el municipio de candelaria a 30 Km. de la ciudad de Cali. Este requerimiento da la oportunidad a un estudiante de ingeniería electrónica brindar su apoyo, aportando con los conocimientos adquiridos, la mejor recomendación de carácter técnico y económico que esté de acuerdo con el pliego de condiciones exigido para el proyecto. De paso permite la inicialización de forma real y práctica a un nuevo ingeniero electrónico, cumpliendo a su vez con el requisito exigido por la universidad Autónoma de Occidente para optar al título de Ingeniero Electrónico
