Abstract

Los consumidores frecuentemente se sienten atraídos a realizar compras gracias a las estrategias de marketing que utilizan las empresas, una de estas estrategias es el Visual Merchandising. El cual, se define como una herramienta del marketing que, a través de la presentación visual y disposición de los productos de manera estratégica, pretenden atraer a los clientes con el fin de realizar una compra. De ese modo, se buscó establecer los principios estratégicos del Visual Merchandising que se aplican en las tiendas de Dollarcity, así como también, validar el comportamiento impulsivo de compra del consumidor. Para finalmente, relacionar los principios estratégicos del Visual Merchandising aplicados por el Dollarcity. De esta forma, se realizó una investigación aplicada a través de una entrevista semiestructurada a 4 gerentes de Dollarcity y se desarrolló un análisis del contenido en redes sociales. Para lograr concluir que las técnicas discrecionales del Visual Merchandising inciden sobre el comportamiento de compra en el consumidor de esta compañía

Consumers are often attracted to making purchases thanks to the marketing strategies used by companies, one of these strategies is the Visual Merchandising. Which, is defined as a marketing tool that, through the visual presentation and provision of products in a strategic way, aim to attract customers in order to make a purchase. In this way, it was sought to establish the strategic principles of Visual Merchandising that are applied in Dollarcity stores, as well as validate the impulsive buying behavior of the consumer. Finally, to relate the strategic principles of the Visual Merchandising applied by the Dollarcity. In this way, an applied research was carried out through a semi-structured interview with 4 managers of Dollarcity and an analysis of the content in social networks. To conclude that the discretionary techniques of the Visual Merchandising affect the buying behavior in the consumer of this Company
