Abstract

Al igual que muchos de los términos abordados en la literatura enfocada en las nuevas tecnologías e informáticas, la definición de la palabra hipertexto es disímil entre los autores. El concepto converge teoría y tecnología para crear una reflexión sobre la literatura y la informática, un cambio de paradigma que plantea la escritura electrónica como una resistencia optimista a las condiciones del libro impreso. Así, el hipertexto plantea una mirada orientada a la multilinealidad, al sistema de redes y nodos, muy en contravía de la relación jerárquica, el procedimiento lineal y equidistante. Un planteamiento de sistema de organización de datos interconectados y una actitud integradora del proceso de lectura inherente a las redes digitales, sin duda, un reflejo del funcionamiento de la mente humana (Landow, 1995; Pajares, 2004; Vouillamoz, 2000).
