Proyecto Labels de Telepacífico: ¿Transmedia o no Transmedia?

Abstract

Desde principios de este siglo, hemos pasado de tener unos pocos medios masivos (radio, prensa y televisión), a tener todo un entramado tecnomediado de contenidos, universos, nichos, productos y subproductos, los cuales se denominaron inicialmente New Media, medios interactivos, comunicación digital, cibermedios, metamediums, cibercomunicación o e-comunicación. Si bien, estos productos generados a partir de un nuevo medio llamado ciberespacio o internet, fundamentaron su génesis en las formas de producción tradicional; finalmente (y a partir de su propia particularidad y del papel casi protagónico de la audiencia), se vio en la necesidad de trascender y expandir sus propuestas de contenido, tanto en términos de su concepción, como en sus formas de distribución e incluso de consumo
