Abstract

El presente estudio se centró en conocer la participación femenina dentro de los departamentos creativos de las agencias publicitarias en Colombia, basándose en diferentes planteamientos teóricos del concepto y la concepción de mujer, su significación desde la cultura y la religión, el aporte en el mercado laboral, factores como la discriminación, la segmentación y las diferentes variables pudiesen influir en la aparente “baja” participación de la mujer en las áreas creativas de las agencias. También presenta una mirada a la relación de las mujeres con la creatividad y las agencias publicitarias. Por medio de una investigación de enfoque cualitativo se entrevistaron creativos hombres y creativas mujeres que laboran en 8 agencias publicitarias ubicadas en las principales ciudades del país Bogotá, Cali y Medellín. Las entrevistas se llevaron a cabo estratégicamente en dos grupos, en primer lugar, se estableció contacto con directores creativos, consecutivamente se estableció contacto con creativos copys y gráficos. El género no fue un factor de sesgo para la investigación, por lo tanto, fue pertinente tener en cuenta las perspectivas masculinas y femeninas frente al tema. Es latente la percepción de entornos creativos altamente masculinos, si bien es cierto que con el tiempo esto se ha ido transformando, se ha hecho de forma lenta y aún en la actualidad es una realidad innegable
