Abstract

La profesión de bombero está expuesta a una alta exigencia física. Es por ello, que para acceder al cuerpo de bomberos de la mayoría de ayuntamientos y diputaciones es necesario pasar unas rigurosas pruebas físicas. Estas no son las mismas en todas las ciudades, sino que varían en función del ayuntamiento que las promulgue. La imagen del bombero tradicional ha dado lugar a un profesional mucho más preparado, que no se dedica únicamente a la extinción de incendios, sino que atiende todo tipo de intervenciones, como pueden ser accidentes de tráfico, achiques de agua, rescate de animales o apertura de puertas, entre otras muchas. En la actualidad los bomberos son verdaderos profesionales, que además de poseer los conocimientos necesarios para resolver cualquier situación de emergencia, necesitan una muy buena condición física para afrontar los requerimientos que se les impongan. Es por ello, que resulta fundamental que en la oposición de acceso existan estas pruebas físicas, para las cuáles es necesaria una preparación tanto física como metal de gran dureza y constancia. Esto es lo que vamos a tratar de abordar en este trabajo de fin de grado, analizando en qué consisten las pruebas físicas existentes en una oposición a bombero y cómo planificar su preparación
