[EN] This final degree project explores the potential intellectual link between the School of Salamanca (16th century) and the Austrian School of Economics (19th–20th centuries), focusing especially on their respective conceptions of just price and value. Through a historical-comparative and philosophical approach, it analyzes contributions from Salamanca authors such as Francisco de Vitoria, Domingo de Soto, and Luis de Molina, and their possible influence on the theories of Carl Menger, Ludwig von Mises, and other Austrian economists. The work emphasizes the role of the market, the subjectivity of value, and the ethical foundations of exchange. The conclusion is that, although there are conceptual similarities, the relationship between both schools is neither linear nor direct, but must be understood within very different historical, philosophical, and methodological frameworks
[ES] Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado explora la posible relación intelectual entre la Escuela de Salamanca (siglo XVI) y la Escuela Austríaca de Economía (siglos XIX-XX), centrándose especialmente en sus respectivas concepciones del justiprecio y del valor. A través de un enfoque histórico-comparativo y filosófico, se analizan las aportaciones de autores salmantinos como Francisco de Vitoria, Domingo de Soto y Luis de Molina, y su posible influencia en los postulados de Carl Menger, Ludwig von Mises y otros economistas austríacos. El trabajo pone énfasis en el papel del mercado, la subjetividad del valor y los fundamentos éticos del intercambio. Se concluye que, aunque existen similitudes conceptuales, la relación entre ambas escuelas no es lineal ni directa, sino que debe entenderse dentro de contextos históricos, filosóficos y metodológicos muy diferentes
