Neofascismo y educación: tendencias internacionales

Abstract

[EN] In this article we situate and characterise the trends of current neo-fascism, which has mutated from classical fascism by integrating capitalist neoliberalism. We describe how it is penetrating education, analysing the main characteristics and mechanisms of infiltration into classrooms and the education system. We compare this educational reality in three countries that are currently benchmarks for the penetration of neo-fascism in education, through three of its most representative figures: Bannon (USA), Milei (Argentina) and Abascal (Spain). We conclude that a Neo-Fascist International has been consolidated in Education, given that it is possible to trace a set of common ideological tendencies that are transversal to the different expressions of the far-right worldwide. Finally, we put forward proposals to combat, through education, the rise of current neo-fascist tendencies and their progressive «normalisation» by part of society.
