Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo responde a los objetivos del proyecto de Innovación y Mejora de la Calidad Docente llevado a cabo el curso 2011-2012 en la Universidad Complutense y en la Universidad de León. El objetivo de estos proyectos es mejorar la calidad de la docencia universitaria, en este caso, impartida a los futuros profesores que cursan el grado de Geografía y/o el Master de formación del profesorado en la especialidad de Geografía e Historia. Con ello se potencia la alfabetización digital relacionada con los para explicar conceptos geográfi cos en la formación inicial del profesorado. Ha sido necesario crear nuevos materiales y orientar el uso educativo de la web 2.0. La mayoría de todo este trabajo queda recogido en una página web elaborada dentro del campus virtual Moodle de la UCM.

[EN] This paper is based on a master´s level Geography Project1 for training future teachers (2011-2012) at the Complutense University and at the University of León. The objective of this kind of project is to improve teaching quality. Digital literacy related to geomedia and Geography concepts (spatial thinking) is promoted for the future teachers. It is necessary to create new teaching materials or reuse open data in an educative way. The web 2.0 has been very useful towards fulfi lling this need. Part of the work was collected and put on a web page that can be visited on the Complutense University Moodle virtual campus.
