Abstract

[ES] EI motor diesel de un tractor agrícola podría considerarse su corazón puesto que es el componente que genera la ener- gía o potencia mecánica que luego se utili- zará de diferentes formas, como trabajos de tracción, trabajos al eje de la toma de fuerza, o trabajos con el sistema oleohi- dráulico (figura 1). La potencia mecánica generada en el volante del motor, caracterizada por un momento de fuerzas o par de torsión (M = N•m o kg•m) y una velocidad de giro (n = r/min), procede de la energía potencial del combustible utilizado. EI combustible con- sumido se quema liberando energía, que se emplea, en parte, para dar el movimien- to rotativo al cigiieñal y volante del motor.
