[ES] La consideración de víctima de terrorismo nace de la idea de que el terrorismo es uno de los grandes problemas sociales que afectan a la sociedad actual, y el hecho de sufrir la perpetración de este hecho, pone al sujeto en un estatus que afecta al desarrollo de su vida y personalidad. Por ello, las diferentes Administraciones Públicas, tanto estatales como autonómica, establecen distintas prestaciones y beneficios fiscales otorgables a determinados sujetos, que, en base a ciertos requisitos, pueden ostentar la condición de víctima del terrorismo, siendo estas, tanto las víctimas que sufren el daño directo del acto terrorista, como sus familiares o allegados que sufren un daño de otra consideración. Debido a la variedad de regímenes que rigen es el territorio español, la determinación tanto de la cuantía como de las prestaciones, como de los beneficios fiscales, y de las personas beneficiarias, varía en función de la Comunidad Autónoma de la que se trate, incidiendo especialmente en los territorios forales de Navarra y País Vasco.

[EN] The consideration of victim of terrorism arises from the idea that terrorism is one of the great social problems affecting today's society, and the fact of suffering the perpetration of this event, puts the subject in a certain status, affecting the development of his life and personality. For this reason, the different Public Administrations regulate in their autonomic provisions, certain benefits and tax benefits granted to certain subjects, who, based on certain requirements, can hold the status of victims of terrorism, being these, both the victims who suffer the direct damage of the terrorist act, and their relatives or close ones who suffer a damage of other consideration. Due to the variety of regimes in force in Spain, the determination of both the amount and the benefits of the tax benefits, and of the beneficiaries, is very diverse depending on the Autonomous Community in question, with special emphasis on the foral territories of Navarre and the Basque Country.
