Abstract

Artículo periodístico publicado en el Diario de León incluido en el Suplemento: "Arquitecturas" nº9, promovido por el Colegio de Arquitectos de León. Uno de los máximos logros de la arquitectura del siglo XIX fue la incorporación del hierro como material de construcción en las edificaciones. En el texto se aborda el origen de este componente, así como los logros más destacados conseguidos con su admisión en los campos de la arquitectura y de la ingeniería.
