El turismo colaborativo en España se ha convertido, a lo largo del tiempo, en un sector muy relevante para la economía del país. Es por ello que, a través del presente Trabajo Fin de Grado, se pretende dar a conocer la importancia de este modelo de negocio analizando, para ello, diversas variables. En primer lugar, se presenta el concepto de economía colaborativa, ámbito donde se encuadra el turismo colaborativo; y la evolución experimentada por ésta a lo largo de los años. En segundo lugar, se estudia el concepto de turismo colaborativo y, en concreto, se analiza: 1) cómo este reciente modelo de negocio ha influido en el desarrollo de la sociedad española desde los puntos de vista económico, social y medioambiental, 2) cuáles son las diferentes modalidades que forman parte de este tipo de turismo y 3) la influencia que ha tenido la pandemia del Covid-19 en dicho sector. Por último, se analizan determinados aspectos de algunas de las empresas más relevantes de los tres ámbitos más representativos del turismo colaborativo: alojamiento (Airbnb y VrBo), transporte (Blablacar y Uber) y gastronomía (Eatwith and To Good to Go).
