Abstract

Los recursos del mundo en el que vivimos son finitos y la conservación del medioambiente cada vez nos preocupa más, por lo tanto, también desde la economía se necesita dar una solución a estos problemas. Los productos derivados del caucho y plástico tienen gran presencia en nuestra sociedad de consumo, pero son perjudiciales para el medioambiente. Este trabajo busca, a través de una tabla Input-Output (I-O) y la cuenta satélite de emisiones a la atmósfera, analizar cómo afecta un aumento de la demanda de cada actividad, tanto en la demanda total del plástico como en los gases de efecto invernadero en el año 2017. De esta manera podremos analizar cuánto perjudica dicha actividad al medioambiente. También hemos estudiado la solución que propone la economía circular ante el problema ambiental que vivimos.
