Abstract

El presente estudio se realiza para determinar los parámetros ambientales que afectan a la distribución del cangrejo rojo americano (Procambarus clarkii) en aguas del Lago de Carucedo y del embalse La Campañana, ambos pertenecientes al término municipal de Carucedo, comarca de El Bierzo (León). En primer lugar se realiza una caracterización de la zona de estudio, donde se señalan los aspectos más importantes del medio físico, del medio natural, de la cuenca hidrográfica y del ecosistema fluvial. A continuación se indica el material y los métodos empleados en el trabajo de campo y de laboratorio, tanto para el muestreo de macroinvertebrados, que servirán para evaluar los índices biológicos que determinan la calidad del agua y la estructura trófica dentro del ecosistema dulceacuícola; así como del cangrejo rojo americano que permiten valorar los principales parámetros ambientales que influyen en su distribución. También se indican los resultados obtenidos y se discuten con otros estudios conocidos, y finalmente se señalan las principales conclusiones obtenidas.
