Abstract

La búsqueda y descubrimiento de nuevos fármacos se ha visto agilizada en los últimos años con el avance de la tecnología. La bioinformática se está abriendo paso en el mundo de la farmacéutica con técnicas como el virtual screening permitiendo realizar búsquedas de compuestos (ligandos) con afinidad a estructuras proteicas (diana) relacionado con alguna enfermedad. Este es el inicio del análisis realizado en este trabajo. Partiendo de la enfermedad de Huntington se ha seleccionado la Huntingtina como posible diana terapéutica.

La cerca i descobriment de nous fàrmacs s'ha vist agilitada en els últims anys amb l'avanç de la tecnologia. La bioinformática s'està obrint pas al món de la farmacèutica amb tècniques com el virtual screening permetent realitzar cerques de compostos (ligandos) amb afinitat a estructures proteiques (diana) relacionat amb alguna malaltia. Est és l'inici de l'anàlisi realitzada en aquest treball. Partint de la malaltia de Huntington s'ha seleccionat la Huntingtina com a possible diana terapèutica.

The research and discovery of new drugs has been speed up in the last years because of technology advance. Bioinformatics is making its way in pharmaceutical¿s world with virtual screening techniques, allowing to research compounds (ligands) with affinity to protein structures (target), related to some disease. This is the beginning of the analysis performed in this work. Based on Huntington¿s disease, Hungtintin has been selected as a possible therapeutic target.
