Abstract

"La Agenda Urbana de Naciones Unidas… sigue siendo ahistórica, sin contexto en el tiempo ni el espacio… Sin estrategia. No establece una jerarquía de prioridades. Carece de un fundamento ético; no asume la justicia social" (Michael Cohen). "Los fundamentos éticos han sido pervertidos por las prácticas de los gobernantesy de gran parte de los profesionales" (Jordi Borja y Fernando Carrión). "Hábitat censuró muchas conclusiones aprobadas en las conferencias preparatorias: el incremento del valor del suelo y la mercantilización de la vivienda… el aumento de las desigualdades en las ciudades… el modelo de urbanización insostenible… y devaluó el derecho a la ciudad al considerarlo una moda en algunos países" (Ana Sugranyes). "La ciudad como mercancía o negocio, ¿no es un atentado a los derechos ciudadanos y a la sostenibilidad del territorio?" (José Manuel Naredo).
