Brutalismo: Publicación editorial y creación tipográfica propia

Abstract

This Final Degree Project is a typographic and editorial design project created as a fictitious project for the architecture festival Open House Madrid and which uses brutalism as a backdrop. On a theoretical level, the project takes a broad look at the historical and architectural context of brutalism with the aim of understanding its complexity and conceptualising the final artefacts of the project. Likewise, an exhaustive study of typographic and editorial references is developed in order to construct the identity of the artefacts and to know the references of the current market. From a practical point of view, this document describes the entire work process carried out for the creation of a first editorial issue. These pages also include the whole process of typographic creation that aims to enrich the design of the final product.
