Abstract

L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és el desenvolupament d’una versió jugable d’un videojoc com a part del treball de fi de grau de Multimèdia. Durant aquest desenvolupament es farà ús de tots els coneixements obtinguts al grau i utilitzar eines noves per assolir els objectius. En aquest videojoc, que entra dintre del gènere de horror, els jugadors assumeixen el paper d’un periodista i explora una torre de radio que va ser abandonada fa anys. Aquesta torre anteriorment va ser un lloc de descans temporal per els caiguts en una guerra de fa dècades i amb el temps els nivells inferiors van ser remodelats, però no els superiors. Aquesta torre està plagada d’una atmosfera de terror i misteri on van sorgir rumors de que hi havien possibles trampes quan es va abandonar. El jugador ha de aventurar-se per aquesta torre descobrint els seus secrets. Aquest joc està pensat per a la plataforma de PC exclusivament. Per a realitzar aquest projecte, s’utilitzarà Unreal Engine 4.27 i totes les eines d’accés gratuït que estiguin disponibles per el motor seleccionat. A més, s'utilitzaran eines de Intel·ligència artificial per la creació d’alguns elements com imatges o fons musical.

The aim of this project is the development of a playable version from a video game as part of the multimedia degree thesis. During this development, all the knowledge obtained in this course will be applied and new tools will be used to achieve the objectives. In this video game, which falls within the horror genre, players assume the role of a journalist which explores a radio tower that was abandoned a few years ago. This tower was previously a temporary resting place for the fallen in a war happened decades ago and over time the lower levels were remodeled but never the upper ones. This tower is plagued with atmosphere of terror and mystery where rumors emerged that there were possible traps after it was abandoned. The player must venture through this tower discovering its secrets. This game is exclusively for PC platforms. To carry out this project, Unreal Engine 4.27 will be used and all the free access tools that are available for the selected engine. In addition, Artificial intelligence tools will be used to create some elements such as images or background music.
