Abstract

The main objective of the project is to design and implement a database system to manage the ITIL process of change management in computer applications for a software development company. The aim is to satisfy the company’s need for an application specifically focused on this process, given the perception that current options in the market are too general. A cascade methodology has been chosen due to the clear sequence of executions and the importance of meeting deadlines in all phases of the project. The results will be delivered in the form of a final product, which will include this memory, database structure scripts, test data and test set. In the academic field, this work is part of the UOC's Final Degree Project subject, with the aim of enabling students to apply the knowledge acquired during their training in Computer Engineering.
