Abstract

El propósito de este proyecto final de grado ha sido la implementación de un sistema que utiliza un casco de Realidad Virtual con seguimiento ocular (eye tracking en inglés) basado en seguimiento de pupila, y un desarrollo a medida efectuado en Unity, para obtener un informe de campo visual similar al obtenido por un campímetro comercial. El sistema permite variar diferentes parámetros de la captación de datos, como por ejemplo simulación de condiciones diurnas o nocturnas, especificar zonas del campo visual mediante patrones específicos, o la regulación de las intensidades de los estímulos, para detectar patologías específicas en los pacientes.

El propòsit d'aquest projecte final de grau ha estat la implementació d'un sistema que utilitza un casc de realitat virtual amb seguiment ocular (eye tracking en anglès) basat en seguiment de pupil·la, i un desenvolupament a mida efectuat en Unity, per obtenir un informe de camp visual similar a l'obtingut per un campímetre comercial. El sistema permet variar diferents paràmetres de la captació de dades, com ara simulació de condicions diürnes o nocturnes, especificar zones de camp visual mitjançant patrons específics, o la regulació de les intensitats dels estímuls, per detectar patologies específiques en els pacients.

The purpose of this final degree project has been the implementation of a system that uses a Virtual Reality helmet with eye tracking (eye tracking in English) based on pupil tracking, and a custom development carried out in Unity, to obtain a report visual field similar to that obtained by a commercial perimeter. The system allows varying different parameters of data capture, such as simulating day or night conditions, specifying areas of the visual field through specific patterns, or regulating the intensities of stimuli, to detect specific pathologies in patients.
