Abstract

Internet de les Coses (IoT) s'utilitza per a proporcionar connectivitat entre diferents dispositius, els quals estan connectats a Internet. És un sistema on els objectes actuen amb altres objectes a través d'un mitjà de comunicació sense fil per a intercanviar i transferir informació sense interacció humana. Els dispositius IoT són propensos a atacs vulnerables a causa de la naturalesa simple i oberta de les seves xarxes. Per tant, la privacitat i la seguretat són la major preocupació d'aquesta tecnologia. L'enfocament de les amenaces de seguretat i privacitat en IoT és crucial per a promoure el desenvolupament de IoT. Aquest treball final de grau té com a objectiu conceptualitzar la Internet de les Coses, establir quins són els seus principals característiques, i entrar detalladament en els aspectes de la privacitat i la seguretat de les dades personals. Quines són aquestes amenaces, la problemàtica particular de la Internet de les Coses que les genera i com mitigar el risc a aquestes amenaces. En aquest treball ens farem les següents preguntes: Què passa amb les nostres dades personals? A quins riscos estem exposats aportant tanta informació privada? Quina seguretat existeix en la Internet de les Coses? En aquest projecte es pretén respondre a aquestes i a moltes altres preguntes. Per a això aprofundirem en el tema de la privacitat i seguretat en la Internet de les Coses.

El Internet de las Cosas (IoT) se utiliza para proporcionar conectividad entre diferentes dispositivos, los cuales están conectados a Internet. Es un sistema donde los objetos actúan con otros objetos a través de un medio de comunicación inalámbrico para intercambiar y transferir información sin interacción humana. Los dispositivos IoT son propensos a ataques vulnerables debido a la naturaleza simple y abierta de sus redes. Por lo tanto, la privacidad y la seguridad son la mayor preocupación de esta tecnología. El enfoque de las amenazas de seguridad y privacidad en IoT es crucial para promover el desarrollo de IoT. Este trabajo final de grado tiene como objetivo conceptualizar el Internet de las Cosas, establecer cuáles son sus principales características, y entrar en detalle en los aspectos de la privacidad y la seguridad de los datos personales. Cuáles son esas amenazas, la problemática particular del Internet de las Cosas que las genera y como mitigar el riesgo a dichas amenazas. En este trabajo nos haremos las siguientes preguntas: ¿Qué pasa con nuestros datos personales? ¿A qué riesgos estamos expuestos aportando tanta información ¿privada¿? ¿Qué seguridad existe en el Internet de las Cosas? En este proyecto se pretende responder a estas y a muchas otras preguntas. Para ello vamos a profundizar en el tema de la privacidad y seguridad en el Internet de las Cosas.

Internet of Things (IoT) is used for providing connectivity am ongst numerous devices,which are connected to the Internet. It is a system where objects interact with other objects through a wireless communication medium to exchange and transfer information without human interaction. IoT devices are prone to vulnerable attacks due to the simple and open nature of their networks. Therefore, privacy and security are the biggest concern in this technology. The focus of the security and privacy threats on IoT is crucial to promote the development of IoT. This TFG aims to conceptualize the Internet of Things, to establish what are its main characteristics, and go into detail on the aspects of privacy and security of personal data. What are these threats, the particular problem of the Internet of Things that generate it and how to mitigate the risk of said threats. In this final degree work we will ask ourselves the following questions: ¿What happens to our personal data? ¿What risks are we exposed to by providing so much "private" information? ¿What security exists in the Internet of Things? In this project aims to answer these and many other questions. For this we are to delve into the topic of privacy and security in the Internet of Things.
