Seksualizacja kultury a ryzykowne zachowania seksualne. O potrzebie skutecznej profilaktyki

Abstract

In the last years a person’s sexuality is becoming an area of health and psycho-social problems. The studies confirm that there’s an increased amount of polish youths whom exhibit a liberalism in sexual behaviors. Until recently this phenomena mainly characterized the countries of Western Europe and the USA. The most problematic are the pregnancies of teenagers, infection with HIV/AIDS and venereal diseases. One of the main reasons of early initiation and taking up risky sexual behaviors is the sexualisation of culture. We are dealing with a trend towards an earlier start of children’s sexual life, which is affected by models conveyed by mass media, family and by peers. That is the reason why an effective prophylactic is needed. A coherent educational program and the integration of the undertaken actions at the family, school, environmental, political and media levels is also necessary.
