Technologie informacyjno-komunikacyjne a dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym – model szans i zagrożeń

Abstract

Wpływ technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych (TIK) na rozwój dzieci stanowi poważny temat dyskursu publicznego. Jest to dyskurs częściej potoczny niż naukowy. Do tego bardzo często prowadzony jest on w obszarze skrajności – albo uwypuklając i czasami demonizując zagrożenia albo też w utopijny sposób koncentrując się na korzyściach. Tekst, który przedstawiamy próbuje w sposób naukowy omówić zagadnienia wykorzystania TIK przez dzieci w weku przedszkolnym wskazując na czynniki, które są istotne i decydują o tym, czy takie wykorzystanie przyniesie korzyści, czy szkody. Nie jest to zadanie łatwe, gdyż pomimo ważności problemu ilość prac naukowych go dotyczących jest relatywnie niska, w porównaniu choćby do prac dotyczących wykorzystania TIK przez preadolescentów i adolescentów.
