Abstract

Los prestadores de servicios como por ejemplo: Electricista, Mecánico, Barbero, Jardinero, Albañil, etc; no tienen una manera de publicitarse de forma masiva y sencilla puesto que dependen de las redes sociales y sus listas de contactos pueden no ser muy amplias, limitando un potencial alcance. Esto es debido a que no existe una plataforma digital que permita conectar a un contratista con un posible cliente, lo que implica que las personas que ofrecen los servicios anteriormente mencionados no se puedan dar a conocer y por lo tanto, se le dificulte a su vez a los clientes contactar con personas prestadoras de servicios. La propuesta central de este proyecto es diseñar una página web para la contratación de servicios donde los contratistas podrán publicar sus servicios, por otro lado los clientes también podrán encontrar el servicio que deseen y agendar una cita con el contratista. La solución desarrollada consta de 4 módulos. Primero una base de datos en PostgreSQL en la cual se registrará la información de los trabajos, trabajadores, clientes, reseñas, puntuaciones y servicios. Luego Django como el framework para el desarrollo del Backend, programado con arquitectura REST será procesado por el Frontend en la versión Web. Posteriormente Flutter será el framework para el desarrollo del Frontend, que permitirá a los usuarios interactuar con el sistema por medio de una interfaz de usuario intuitiva y amigable. Y por último Azure permitirá tercerizar la infraestructura requerida para el funcionamiento de la aplicación por medio de la nube. A través de dos encuestas realizadas a usuarios Cliente y Trabajador, se puede evidenciar una satisfacción general con la plataforma, desde su complejidad a su utilidad. Los trabajadores encuestados afirmaron que les gustaría ofrecer sus servicios frecuentemente por medio de esta. Los clientes encuestados por su parte, afirmaron que les gustaría contratar servicios frecuentemente usando el sistema, comprobando así su utilidad.

Services providers such as: electricians, mechanics, barbers, gardeners, builders, etc; Do not have an easy way to make themselves publicly available since they depend on social media and their contact lists might be not that broad, therefore limiting their potential reach. This is due to a lack of digital platforms that allows connection between a contractor and a potential client, which implies that suchs workers can not reach the needed scope resulting finally in clients not finding their provided services. The main proposal of this project is to design a web page for service hiring in which contractors will be able to post their services from where clients could find them and make appointments of the required services.The developed solution consists of 4 modules. First the PostgreSQL database where all the workers, services, clients, reviews and appointments will be stored. Then a backend coded using Django will serve the queried information by the user on the front end. Subsequently the front end made with flutter/dart, will allow users to interact with said system through a friendly and easy to use user interface. Lastly Azure will outsource the needed infrastructure for the proper system functioning. Finally Via two polls asked to both Client and Worker about the user experience of the system shows that overall user satisfaction was met. Workers affirm that they would like to offer their services through the web. Clients affirm that they would like to hire services using the system. Thus proving the usability of the project.
