Aplicación del modelo argumentativo de Stephen Toulmin: en una institución educativa

Abstract

La siguiente investigación corresponde a la aplicación del modelo argumentativo de Stephen Toulmin (1958), para el análisis de los discursos de este tipo y el afinamiento de las competencias argumentativas en los sujetos de una institución educativa, denominada Fundación para el Desarrollo Tecnológico, Científico y Cultural de Colombia, Funtec. Institución sin ánimo de lucro, de carácter privado, de educación no formal, dedicada a la capacitación y actualización profesional. Quien en su parte administrativa necesitaba de “sujetos argumentadores” para la promoción de actividades académicas. En su desarrollo se llevó a cabo una aplicabilidad del modelo, analizando cómo argumentan y cómo mejorar sus competencias argumentativas y, por ende, sus procesos cognitivos hacia el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y el mejoramiento de sus competencias laborales. Palabras claves: análisis, aplicación, argumentación, Toulmin, competencia.
