Estabilidad estructural y comportamiento electrónico de los compuestos SrP, BaP y RaP

Abstract

Se ha realizado un estudio de las propiedades estructurales y electrónicas en el volumen de los compuestos binarios Fosfuro de Estroncio (SrP), Fosfuro de Bario (BaP) y Fosfuro de Radio (Rap), basados en la Teoría del Funcional Densidad. Para resolver las ecuaciones de Kohn-Sham, se utilizó el método de ondas planas aumentadas y linealizadas con potencial completo (FP-LAPW) como está implementado en el paquete numérico wien2k. Se determinaron los efectos de intercambio y correlación mediante la Aproximación de Densidad Local (LDA) y la Aproximación de Gradiente Generalizado (GGA), ésta con los potenciales Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE) y Wu-Cohen. Se estudiaron las propiedades de conducción a partir de la estructura de bandas y densidad de estados considerando las fases de cristalización Cloruro de Cesio, Cloruro de Sodio, wurtzita, zinc blenda y arseniuro de Níquel.
