Abstract:The aim of this paper is to describe some general and historical characteristics of globalization and the role that it has played in the Multinational Enterprise (MNE) evolution. It seeks to demonstrate that the process of globalization and the development of MNE are parallel. In other words, there is a close relationship between one phenomenon and the other. They need each other and they are strongly correlate, which implies that the characterization of globalization depends to a large extent on the form or nature the MNE, which is transformed and adapted to changes in the globalization.
