Enfoque Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad (CTS): perspectivas educativas para Colombia.

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por objeto presentar un panorama general sobre el origen y desarrollo del paradigma CTS en el contexto internacional y nacional de Colombia.En esta línea, la investigación sobre el diseño, experimentación y evaluación de materiales curriculares ha buscado innovar el área de tecnología e informática mediante el innovador enfoque CTS, con lo que se pretenden generar cambios en lo didáctico, pedagógico y metodológico, así como también generar cambios de actitud en el alumnado para su desempeño como ciudadano.Por esta razón, se busca innovar el área de tecnología e informática en la asignatura de Ciencia y Tecnología, aportando un enfoque innovador a partir del diseño de material curricular CTS, en el cual se proporcione un contenido que parta de los conocimientos e intereses del alumnado, sin dejar a un lado la formación científica y lograr una mejor internalización del aprendizaje para su desempeño ciudadano con mayor sentido social.Palabras clave: Enfoque, perspectiva, Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad.The present article intends to present a general view of the origin and development of the CTS paradigm at international and Colombian national context.In this line, the investigation on the design, experimentation and evaluation of curricular materials attempts to innovate the area of technology and computer science by the innovative CTS approach, in order to generate changes in didactics, pedagogy, and methodology, as well as in students’ attitude towards their citizenship performance.Therefore, the aim is to innovate the Technology and Computer Science area, specifically the subject “Science and Technology”, by using an innovative approach from the design of curricular CTS material.Key words:focus, perspective, science, technology and society.
