Abstract

Abstract This discussion tries to show the challenges, opportunities, changes and concerns that an aging population, which requires a holistic view of the phenomenon from different perspectives. For this purpose, described the behaviour of the population changes for a century (1950-2050) in the world, in Latin America and the Caribbean and Colombia, highlighting the changes in demographic indicators.
