Abstract

Elettra, secondo libro delle Laudi del cielo del mare della terra e degli eroi, uscì congiunto ad Alcyone presso Treves nel dicembre 1903, ma con data 1904. Dopo Maia, primo libro del ciclo pubblicato nel maggio 1903, dovranno seguire altri quattro volumi intitolati alle sette Pleiadi: ecco, nel mese di dicembre, Elettra e Alcyone. Seguiranno, molti anni più tardi, Merope (1912, col titolo Canzoni delle gesta d’oltremare) e Asterope (1915-1918, Canti della guerra latina). Il nostro lavoro procura l’edizione critica del secondo libro delle Laudi, allo scopo di completare il ciclo inaugurato con l’uscita di Alcyone nel 1988 e seguito da Maia nel 2006 per l’Edizione Nazionale delle Opere di Gabriele d’Annunzio.
