Problemática en los incendios de interfaz urbano-forestal

Abstract

At present, there is concern about the increase in forest fires that sweep our forests year after year that lately involve the general population when these fires reach the anthropic infrastructures. In this documentan investigation has been carried out using a quantitative methodology, with the inductive method chosen, and taking the historical data of the last decade available to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, to arrive at a generic conclusion that indicates that Although the trend of the number of fires is downward, more and more large forest fires are occurring, affecting more lands and reaching areas of urban interface, with the consequent increase in risk to the population. Therefore a series of sections are developed in which it is intended to publicize the peculiarities of a fire of IUF and to see the problems created in the extinction of this type of fire.
