Los Guachinches son considerados establecimientos de restauración propios de la isla de Tenerife, en los que se ofrece comida autóctona tradicional acompañada de vino de cosecha propio de la zona. Se trata de establecimientos que en si mismos guardan y representan la tradición y particularidad de la isla de Tenerife, por lo que visitarlos acerca al cliente a la cultura de la zona. El reclamo del turista ha cambiado, sus motivaciones y necesidades se acercan a una búsqueda de experiencias auténticas en el destino. Si unimos esto último a la definición y descripción de los Guachinches es inevitable considerar que estos establecimientos deben ser considerados como un fuerte producto de interés para el turismo. En este proyecto, se realiza una investigación profunda a través de la cual se pretende tener una idea más clara y concisa sobre qué relación hay en la actualidad entre el turismo y los Guachinches y la viabilidad de afianzar esta relación consiguiendo un beneficio paralelo de ambas actividades.

Guachinches are considered a catering establishment on the island of Tenerife, where traditional local food is served accompanied by local wine from the area. These are establishments that in themselves keep and represent the tradition and particularity of the island of Tenerife, so visiting one of these establishments brings the client closer to the culture of the island. The claim of the tourist has changed, their motivations and needs are close to a search for authentic experiences in the destination. If we add this last to the definition and description of the Guachinches it is inevitable to consider that these establishments should be considered as a strong product of interest for tourism. In this project, a deep investigation is carried out through which there is a clearer and more concise idea of what relationship there is currently between tourism and the Guachinches and the feasibility of strengthening this relationship, achieving a parallel benefit of both activities.
