Estrategias cognitivas y motivacionales según carreras universitarias

Abstract

¿Hay diferencias en las estrategias de aprendizaje, cognitivas y motivacionales, de los alumnos universitarios según carrera? Nuestra hipótesis es que cada titulación se diferencia por el tipo de contenidos y habilidades requeridas, aunque también, varía según el tipo de enseñanza y el tipo de evaluación empleados, fomentado así distinto grado de calidad de aprendizaje. Para esto, se realizó una investigación con una muestra de 2.037 estudiantes, procedentes de todos los centros de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, pertenecientes a la veintiuna titulaciones y veintinueve especialidades. Éstas se agruparon en cuatro grandes grupos: CC Técnico-Experimentales; C.C. Jurídico-Económicas; C.C. Médicas y de la Salud; y C.C. Humanas y Sociales. Los resultados demuestran que existen diferencias, hasta el punto de poder configurar un perfil específico de cada grupo sobre el modo de cómo estudia y se motivan sus alumnos.
