Equilibrio isobárico liquido-vapor de mezclas binarias : aplicación a mezclas esteres-alcoholes

Abstract

Se determinan los datos T-x-y para el equilibrio isobérico líquido-vapor a 760±0,5 mm de Hg, de quince sistemas pertenecientes a familias homólogas de ester-alcohol. Los sistemas estudiados fueron: acetato de etilo+ (etanol, n-propanol, n-butanol), acetato de propilo + (etanol, n-propanol, n-butanol), acetato de butilo + (etanol, n-propanol, n-butanol), propionato de etilo + (etanol, n-propanol, n-butanol), butirato de etilo + (etanol, n-propanol, n-butanol). Los estados de equilibrio se consiguieron mediante un nuevo ebullómetro de pequeña capacidad. De esta forma, se comprobó - la eficacia del equipo, comparando los resultados obtenidos con los encontrados en la bibliografía para alguno de estos sistemas. El tratamiento termodinámico de los datos, se consideró la fase vapor como no-ideal, empleandose distintas ecuaciones en el tratamiento de los datos T-x-y. Además de las ecuaciones clásicas de Redlich-Kister, Margüles, Van Laar, se emplearon los modelos de Wilson, los de Renon y Prausnitz (NRTL), así como el de Abrams y Prausnitz (UNIQUAC). Junto con estas ecuaciones se utilizó una expresión modificada de otra ya empleada en anteriores trabajos y que dió excelentes resultados. Por último, y en base a los resultados obtenidos, se realizó una interpretación del comportamiento de las mezclas.
