Abstract

This present study has the goal to analyse the predictive value of a tool designed for the detection of major behaviour disorders in the school environment (CIPEC). From a conceptual approximation the study field and scientific contributions linked to the topic are delimited. An empiric investigation is realized through a sample of 2098 students in Primary School (between 6 and 12 years old). The results obtained confirm that the professorate can inform with high levels of reliability of the presence of major behaviour disorders in Primary school. Also, the CIPEC allow us to obtain data of prevalence, as well as correctly classify in certain groups or levels of intensity the major disorders of behaviour.
