A lo largo de este trabajo, intentaremos definir la habilidad musical. Para ello, expondremos las teorías de los principales autores en pedagogía musical Asimismo, trataremos las discrepancias existentes sobre la naturaleza de esta habilidad. Por lo tanto, trataremos las cuatro destrezas básicas que la forman. Por último, hablaremos sobre la influencia que factores, tales como el entorno o la genética, tienen sobre la musicalidad de los individuos.

Throughout this paper we will try to define musical ability. In order to achieve this, we will review the theories of the main authors in musical pedagogy. At the same time, we will deal with the different opinions about the nature of this ability. Therefore, we will study the four basic skills that form it To finish, we will see how different factors, such as environment or genetics, influence on people’s musical characteristics.
