La pesca de arrastre en la provincia de Tarragona

Abstract

Como continuación de los estudios que el Instituto de Investigaciones Pesqueras viene realizando en la plataforma costera española desde hace más de quince años, en julio de 1964 se efectuaron las primeras gestiones pata iniciar los trabajos en la provincia de Tarragona. Subvencionados por la Dirección General de Pesca, parte del personal de la plantilla del laboratorio de Barcelona se ha trasladado con cierta periodicidad a los tres puertos más importantes de la citada provincia, con el fin de efectuar pescas experimentales a bordo de embarcaciones comerciales alquiladas al efecto.
